Current auto loan rates include:

For new or used 2008-2009 models a 36 month car loan rate is 5.25%
The 48 month term car loan rate is 5.25%. 
The 60 month term car loan rate 5.40%.
And the 72 month term car loan rate 6.25%.

For used models 2006-2007 a 36 month term car loan rate is 5.50%.
The 48 month term for these models car loan rate is also 5.50%. 
And the 60 month term car loan rate is 5.90%.

For used models dated 2005, the 36 month term car loan rate is 5.75%.
The 48 month term car loan rate is unchanged at 5.75%. 
And the 60 month term car loan rate is 6.25%.

For used car models for the 2004 year, the 36 month term car loan rate is 6.25%
The 48 month term car loan rate stays the same at 6.25%. 
And the 60 month term car loan rate is 6.75%

For used 2003 models the 36 month term car loan rate is 6.75%.
Again, the 48 month term car loan rate doesn’t change at 6.75%. 
And the 60 month term car loan rate for these models is 7.25%.

And for used cars from 2002 or older the 36 month term car loan rate is 8.50% as is the car loan rate for the 48 month term.
